EDIT: Previous 2011 thread - http://www.bordersdown.net/showthrea...ing-Spend-2011
Could it be the last gaming year ever due to impending Apocalypse?! Probably not. However, if you have a tendency to over spend on games like myself it could seem like one way of dealing with gaming induced debt. In 2011 I managed the small accomplishment of spending marginally less on games than the previous year, though the figure didn't fall by anywhere near what I'd hoped for. In last years opening post I highlighted 2 games I'd picked up and not even played. One of those games still sits on my shelf untouched, now next to it's equally idle sequel. In 2012, I'm hoping to make a proper crack down on spending with my time available to play games likely to drop and other commitments, hopefully this will curb the addiction a little.
My previous totals are:
2010 - ?2,887
2011 - ?2,425
A new year brings a new opportunity to join the Gaming Spend Club and see how your hoards price tag compares to others.
Are you expecting to spend a lot in the coming year?
