After last years spending I'm very interested to know if I can bring down my surplus collecting habits as 2010 proved to be an expensive year where I admittedly bought a lot of games that I didn't need to and even some on release like Saboteur and Yakuza 3 that I haven't even put into the disc drive yet. Well after I bought my first XB360 and about 7 new/used games for it plus a few accessories for a total of just over ?260 earlier this year I limited myself to ?10/month. That worked out pretty well as I bought another 5 new/used games which were on my wish list.

I'll try, and probably have to, stick to that again in 2011 too with maybe a little extra using Xmas and birhday windfalls. So I reckon it'll be about ?150 in total.

My wish list is mostly older GOTYEs, when available, including Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed II/Brotherhood, Fable II, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and perhaps one of the CoD games too. I think I'll be able to get all of those even on that budget.

One new game I'm interested in is that Alice: Return From Madness thing but not heard much about it since it was announced.

However, my next gaming purchase is actually not likely to be a game at all but a 120GB HDD for my original Xbox.
