This is a simple but enjoyable game. It's a lot like Wii Sports' tennis game in that you basically bash a ball back and forth between two characters by swinging the Wiimote, but the system is simple enough to work well, and this means anyone can pick it up immediately.
It's enriched by the fact that your character can lose their balance if they overreach themselves; an icon appears and you have to shake the wiimote like crazy to get them to balance again, or you'll lose the next point. As well as this, occasionally you'll get a '!!' appear over your character's head - if you hit A just as you smack the ball, your character will perform a special smash move and blast it past the other player!
Attractive, 3D cel-shaded anim?-style graphics make the whole thing very pleasing to the eye, but be warned that this is a very limited game. There's no tournaments or anything to speak of, it's really game that's designed for two player action. Play it on your own and you just end up with a knackered wrist and a bit of a lonely feeling, not unlike another popular pastime.
