                  Updated first post with information on the (*shudder*) further pussifying of the CoP missions. Also removed from rumour section the news of same.

                  If people can't be bothered to spend a few hours farming anima/mistmelt etc, they don't deserve to complete CoP in my oh so humble opinion.

                  On a personal note, I'm happy that I have got CoP cleared before these changes were made.

                    Really want to get it done fast. meh.

                    No choice in the matter over difficulty. These missions should follow suit after PSU, the harder the mission you choose (easy, medium + hard) the better the rewards will be.

                    More serious a point is that this doesn't bode well for those looking forward to anything challenging in future releases.

                    It's not like they were that hard anyway, but I like close fights. The hardest part for me is ripping into my savings for RR + foods, supplies, meds etc.

                        The thing is though mate, people work so hard for all this really cool gear when it's going to make even less of a difference? Why bother?

                        SE should make two MMORPGs, one for idiots and one for gamers.

                          Adjustments to Difficulty

                          Particularly challenging Chains of Promathia battlefields, such as those that appear in the Promyvion areas (Holla, Dem, Mea, Vahzl), and the missions "Flames for the Dead" and "The Warrior's Path", will have their difficulty level toned down. These adjustments will include changes to monster level and placement.
                          We also hope that the following changes to items used specifically against Chains of Promathia enemies will encourage players to brave the dangers found in the mission battlefields.

                          - Rare/Ex Properties
                          The special items introduced for use against enemies found within the Chains of Promathia battlefields will have their "Ex" properties removed, allowing these items, such as psychoanima and mistmelt, to be put up for auction. Certain items will also have the "Rare" property removed, allowing players to carry multiples of the same item.

                              Further updated the first post with lots of official confirmations from S-E from things that were included as rumours from the Square-Enix Party 2007.

                              This includes the official description of Einherjar, job changes and confirmation of various mission and quest changes.

                              Removed the rumour regarding relic armour for the Aht Urghan jobs as it appears this will not be forthcoming in June. They do state that it is unlikely the relics will come from Dynamis when they eventually arrive.

                              There is also a few other bits of information in the above link that people may be interested in but it wasn’t directly relevant to the June version update so not included in the first post.

                                Forgot to mention before, but this is one of the most exciting quotes from the link above:

                                Obviously, that's regarding the 18 job specific weapons that were added previous update that are obtained from Nyzul Isle. Wonder what will happen to them?
