bah I always prefer getting a JPN version of a game if possible - Better boxart and better sized box!

Are there any Japanese menu options for "Format Memory Card" that I should be aware of?

Don't listen to Sidez, Bomberman Generation has a cracking version of good old multiplayer Bomberman. The Saturn version does have the edge, but Generation is still good fun.

GCN Bomberman is certainly better than the DC version, and that wasn't bad.

I agree, GC Bomberman is a fine version (the single player is pretty but totally dull). The cel shaded look is well implemented and the levels stay the right side of gimmicky unlike some of the later SNES versions and the DC versions.
