    Yeah I've really enjoyed the season just disappointed with the end. Some of the acting in the last ep was the the best it's seen.

      Fox is mulling Season 10

      If they proceed, the writers really need to have some wider end game in mind for the character be it for S10 or not. They also need to shake the formula up. Live Another Day rode the nostalgia fine but if they don't get out the writing rut it'll die off quick again.

              The rumbles, though early, are that Fox plans to move forward potentially with Season 10 however it would be the first season which would not feature Jack Bauer as Sutherland seems to have definitely opted out.

                  Season 10 is now beginning to morph into being a spin-off. It will again be a limited series with a brand new lead character, Jack would be demoted to a guest character who would appear in a handful of eps. If successful it would lead into an ongoing new run of seasons with the new lead.

                    They really should have just ended Jack's story in the last outing. Hopefully if Jack shows up in this his story will come to an end, I really cant see this taking off again with new leads.

                          Will have to treat this like a new show rather than compare it to its "Legacy". Still not that happy that we didn't get closure though and they are starting something new. I watched a interview with Keifer and although he has said it before he said he is done with Jack. Feels pretty final now that we wont be seeing Bauer again

                            I'm the same, the main show had become pretty tired and Keifer was about the only reason to stick it out. Without him I don't feel a need to continue as well as being underwhelmed by the awful way Season 9 left Jack
