    Konami has had the rights to DDR picked up for a movie - yes a movie - to be made based on the rhythm action series.
    It get's better.


    The synopsis of the movie is that it is set in a world at the mercy of being on the brink of destruction. In the darkest hour, mankinds only hope is to unite together through the power of dance.

    It isn't a self aware satirical take on the franchise either.

    I bet they get Sony to make this one since they seem to pick up any script these days.

        That could've been fantastic. It even has a wonderful dramatic irony; that mankind is freed from tyranny by the power of dance...

        ... dancing to a machine which gives explicit instructions on what to do and requires conformity to succeed.
