anyone had xbox live renewal issues?

been on to microsoft for over an hour.

trying to activate xbox live using a prepaid code but microsoft are insisting that i renew the subscription using the original debit card from 12 months ago, which is long gone.

rather frustrating

even worse, i have 3 xbox live subscriptions to do this with!!
