The first one was such an ace experience back in the days but the second one never captured my attention the same way and thus remained pretty much unplayed. Wanted to dive into 4 and 5 now but thought I might as well give these a spin and boy is 2 a load of crap.
A series of fetch quests on a tiny map, some iffy shooting mechanics and that darn bint and her never ending codec messages all combine to make this a crappy game in my estimation as I don't have that rose tinted/fond memory angle to whore when going through it. Not looking forward to the third either as the level of micromanagement and lack of proper radar really put me off that one back then and may just kick both to the kerb and watch a recap on youtube before diving into 4 as that looks like a really good game.
In related news I really fancy digging out Splinter Cell again as I remember how dope that was, is Chaos Theory still the best this franchise has to offer?
