AV Famicom Advice?

I'm thinking of buying an AV Famicom. Are there any known issues with this model? Also, I would like to play American games - both on cartridge and through an Everdrive. Are there any issues(with sound & graphics) when playing US games on the AV Famicom?

I think it's pretty much the best non modded machine to have. It works with us games via an adaptor just fine (although they look a little comical), it's compatible with the fds, doesn't have the jailbar issue that plagues the nes top loader I believe as well.

I've been researching the machine and think I might get one. I haven't seen any posts about some games not working on it, and that's what I'm worried about. Not having jailbars is a major plus point.
