Double Dragon Neon on the 360 was a solid side scroller with great music. Volgarr the Viking is worth a look too, although it's a side scrolling hack n slash platformer rather than a traditional beat em up.

Double Dragon Neon is criminally underrated. It's currently 69p on stream, which is a ridiculous price, everyone should try it.
Full of 80s nostalgia, very tongue in cheek (the main bad guy is basically a comedy Skeletor) and has excellent music. Also had the likes of dodges, jump cancelling and optional move sets.
