It's spitting cars and money at me but I've very little need to use any of it and I kind of like that as I don't have the time to faff about in these things.
To be honest yep lol Fourth tour out of five now and use as many cars. Just need to tune them. There's plenty content but the core career is very straight forward, zero grinding. Perfect lol
Bought the game with the Season Pass, so got the DLC plus the Infiniti Q60 (free DLC), though I had to go to the latter specifically to get it.
DLC cars
IMSA(?) Nissan 300ZX - Pleasantly surprised as it wasn't too tail happy.
Capparo F1 - Plenty of ground effect so some corners could be taken flat out.
Honda RA300 '67 - Seemed less twitchy than the old Lotus GP car I bought.
Rebellion Racing Toyota Lola '14 - Seemed rather twitchy.
Mercedes W124 (or whatever) '39 - Almost as user friendly as the Auto Union. Hit 212 mph with it on the old Mulsanne Straight.
Cadillac Limo - Surprisingly manageable, though I have yet to try it above E400.
Volvo 123GT - Pleased to see this included, only mildly tuned it to E400. Could use a suspension upgrade to cut out the roll.
Infinity Q60 DLC
The Infiniti is another coupe in the vein of the M3 etc.
I was tuning the 2017 Ford Raptor. Only went to to the maximum of D class as I decided it was probably enough. Went with the stock gearbox and tried it on the old Mulsanne straight. It was a fair distance from the redline in "top", so I went with a racing gearbox. I went to tune the gearbox, only to be confronted with 10 gears! Pretty much adjusted everything after moving the final drive as far to the right as it would go. Moved all gear settings to the right progressively until it pulled a sensible speed reasonably close to the redline in 10th and accellerated sensibly.
All the controller issues I've had with Project Cars, all the content issues with DriveClub, all the technical jank I had with Gran Turismo 6, all off it is fixed for me with Forza Motorsport 6. It looks beautiful, has so much content and I've never had such an involving driving experience on a controller before as I have had with the new Xbox One controller. The impulse triggers allow you to have such tactile feeling over every part of the car and knowing exactly when to back off the heavy breaking before the breaks lock is a revelation on a controller, it almost makes me not miss my GT steering wheel!
Wait till you play it with the new elite controller like I did tonight.
I figured the elite controller would be good for shooters but I'm happy to report those paddles, the extra weight, the ability to increase rumble effects and a longer stick... Well let's just say it feels about as good as it can playing a racing game outside of using a wheel.
I can't wait for my elite controller order to arrive now.
That does look impressive, mind you!
When I first got my XBox 360 with PGR3, I spent a lot of time wondering around my Ferrari and Lamborghini garages taking photos of the beautiful machines, so I can imagine Forza 6 would be similar.
Imagine if there was a "Top Gear Promo Mode", where you could create those introductory videos they use when reviewing a car!
A shot of thunderclouds segues into aggressive headlights emerging from a smoky darkness. Strobed images of huge sports tyres under stylised arches. Close-up of the rev counter surging. A shot of the exhausts as the engine screams to life. Close-up of the badge.

Then somebody says the car name
I'm such a perverse guy when it comes to cars, I would so be all over that!
I think Gran Turismo 4 was the first dedicated console racer that introduced Photo Mode and I spent so long lining up shots over the Grand Canyon and a bloody Chinese Fish Market!
Some more sexy, Forza 6 shots. More people need to get on this game!
Ford has posted up a concept for a version of Microsoft's recently released Xbox Elite Wireless Controller that's based on the car maker's recent GT sport car.
I presume cars do appear in the Spins from time to time. I reached Level 140 this morning and the 1.9 million Stirling Moss 722 Mercedes 300SL race car was the Jackpot. After what must be 15-20 Spins of rubbish prizes (best was 500,000... rest were 100,000 or less), I won the car. I'd been considering it for a purchase for a while now. Just as well I didn't buy it.
