put the below on the back burner for now.

i've tried but given up, trying to update my 160gb one, so i have an fresh chrystal Xbox and a spare 320gb HD, and looking for someone to mod and "Emu it up" for me with the usual console/coinops/visionary etc.

Sega 32X console,/psu/cables preferably 50/60hz modded.

Arcade Supergun - pretty much ready to go please, don't want to be sourcing extra's.
ideally would like it so i can just add a PCB/MVS1Slot/Pandora and off you go!

broken/non working Mega cd 1 console, good cosmetic condition. Reasonably priced please.

Neo Geo CD Console JPn/US maybe even a CDZ if price is reasonable. 2 pads, RGB lead and psu,

Atari Jaguar console with psu/scart lead, 2 pads. games would be a bonus, Doom, AVP. Tempest 2000,

Ive got a softmod kit I can loan you.
My memory is hazy if it'll let you upgrade the HD, or whether you need a hard chip for that?

OP - I would accept Colin's offer of a pre-modded one.
The Crystal is almost certainly a v1.6 which isn't ideal and swapping the HDD in a softmod is possible but time consuming so no longer cost effective.

God I remember doing that years ago. Softmod, dump the EEPROM, rebuild software on a new HDD, lock it with the same EEPROM information...

Exactly. You'd be lucky to find a PC with an ATA interface today.
If it wasn't a v1.6 (it may be a v1.4 if lucky) then it is easier to reconnect the bridges, softmod then flash the TSOP
