Don't know if you've managed to work out how to yet, but it's possible to have a fixed 3rd person for cars and 1st for on foot. I managed it on ps4 but I don't remember what option I enabled so I'll check after work.

Also, does anyone know at what point you start the new side mission for Michael if you carry over from last gen? Sounds like a good time to me! I could also do with a way of telling that all the bonuses for cross platform have carried over. I've been able to call for a blimp pretty much since the game started, is that a good indication?

If you see the blimp in your contacts that should mean they're unlocked. Other way is to go into an Ammunition store and if the Hatchet is selectable from the right hand wall of items then you're okay.

Can we take over SP characters? Or only MP? The blimp is available from the start for all.

I can't get over how good this games looks! The detail in the environments and the humor are everywhere! Quite incredible.

Also the contrast between areas is so stark!

I must say that this is one of the best games I've played. The FPS mode is interesting, but as mentioned earlier I don't like that for the combat side of things.

Great great art in this game.

Cool, I'll have another look too. As a second playthrough I'd have a go at playing it through like that, I imagine some missions are immense in first person

I'm sure one of the earlier missions with the photographer (beverly) is different this time around - much more, um pornographic than before?

              Is this better than Shenmue

It's there but I can't buy it as it's apparently unavailable. I could get the hammer and other last gen bonuses, but I think I had to buy them whereas they're apparently free (with in game money not RL of course). My r* account is tied to my Ps4 one but don't know what to think.

Do you have to put the code in? The million dollar code?

I did that. Is the Hatchet available from the off? I'm guessing the mag rail isn't.

You still have to buy the items in game - as far as I can tell if they're not up on the boards at all, then they haven't unlocked (that's how it did it on the 360 last gen - if you didn't have Gold then you couldn't access or see certain items or hairstyles). Because you can see the items I would guess they've ported over.

The Mag Rail is so stupidly over powered (single shot, loud noise, make big boom) that you don't get that for a good while. It is available earlier on the Ammunation ranges if you play through the challenges.

Should you be able to buy the Hatchet straight away though? As I say it's up there just greyed out and listed as unavailable. I've had a text from someone telling me about the monkey murals thing, isn't that meant to be a carry over bonus?

A new patch is available but reports of problems with PS4 version crashing and bugged both online and offline

It was the same for me but it did eventually become available to buy - I assumed that was just the way it was because I know I have access to the exclusive content (I stumbled across the Imponte Duke O’Death whilst out and about, and now have that in my garage)

Any big differences over the 360/ps3 versions (other than the graphics)

FPS mode, extra weapons, more cars, more wildlife, more clothes. Secret cars and planes if you played PS3 version. You can be an animal and some extra mission stuff with certain characters. Heists come soon also more DLC planned like was done with BOGT and Lost Damed.
