For this year, I did a video of an unfinished homebrew that pretty much no one has seen since 2007. Probably because I own the only copy! You should recognise the original game it was based upon though...

Always (still do) wanted a Vectrex... I used to gaze at the Littlewoods-type catalogues of the day incessantly, as if some kind of pervert had created glossy, full colour wireframe porno mags.

Prices on the console have come down gradually over the years, you can easily find an unboxed working example for around ?75 today. Might cost you half that though to get another controller mind you. And the great thing is, there are not huge numbers of games (until you start thinking about homebrew) and most of them are pretty good.
