Stealth missions! Or better stealth mission (no "s"), that so far has been the most difficult and obnoxious mission in the whole game.
Forcing a stealth mission in a game not built around that mechanic usually result in failure, and Bullet Girls is no exception. The main problem is that the mission teases multiple paths, but there's only one, and that path bends the feeble stealth rules as it sees fit. The concept is simple: get spotted by someone (or shoot someone) and the mission is over; enemies spot you when directly in their field of vision, you can stand right behind them and noone will notice.
Field of visions are different for each guard, and with some you'll be standing few meters right in front of them not being detected, some other times they will spot you through walls even when in previous attempts they didn't. The initial and final parts of the mission are very straighfoward, but the central part requires to pass through a garden with a mix of standing and moving guards. They key is to crawl beside chest-high walls, but you can only do so at certain pre-determined spots; the action is also automatic, so if you press circle (the same button used to sprint) at the wrong time you can see your character crawl back to where she came from, which is "a bit" annoying.
Now, the garden has apparently two paths: one goes through a higher brick wall with no openings, the other through lower bushes, with multiple openings including a very large passageway right in front of the boss.
The right path is the latter, because the boss is not able to spot you. WTF game, consistency?
The mission isn't helped by the fact that there isn't a retry option, you have to go through the debriefing, map, briefing, character selection (and you can only use a specific one in that mission) before starting the mission. Loading times are the best I've seen on a Vita, but multiple retries can drive you crazy.

Other than that mission...well, I'm having fun with the game. The gunplay isn't particularly deep, enemies do get some more brain (and better aim) as the game goes on, there aren't many maps, there aren't that many weapons (and you'll stick to just a few ones), but the game itself is pleasant despite its flaws. I guess that's what D3 specialises in, right? Average games that have a special kind of charm. No bugs in this one, and I can't compare it to the recent EDF games (first/last one I played was the PS2 one), but Bullet Girls' simple structure is enjoyable.
Later missions do highlight some deficiencies in the controls and hit detection, but it's not enough to make the game bad.
I'd wish there were more guns, there are just three types (each available in two levels) for each family, but at least those present all have their own features. Underwear, on the other hand, is plentiful to the point of being too much...and where are black pantyhoses, game? Eh? But I digress. More uniforms would have been great as well, but I guess that's what the PSN store is for (no, not gonna spend money on DLCs for this one).

Where's the cheapest place to buy this (not done importing for an age). I want to treat myself (not like that).

Nin Nin Game I'd say, at least you'll most probably skip import duties. Other than that, AmiAmi or Play Asia.

Maybe someone wants to see the game in motion.

This reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles.

Love the accent, makes the proceedings sound very sophisticated.
