Upscales Component, VGA or RGBHV in whatever resolution you select, and outputs over VGA.

It is commonly used with the SLG3000 scanline generator.

I've got 2 neo geo CDZ at the moment, and people complain about the loads times, things load quicker on this thing than the xbox one, I've just got a couple of rare cd games, ironclad and neo drift out, Great great games, I still think the neo geo is my favourite console.

I've got one modded by mmmonkey, it is a scanline generator, cheaper alternative to the arcadeforge versions. Worked well with Neo Geo AES, PC-Engine, SFC & MD.

Just to be clear, the board in the picture is not the scanline generator itself, that's just the scaler. Maybe you bought a scanline generator at the same time, but that's not what's pictured!

Mine was modified by mmmonkey. Has a switch discreetly mounted underneath for odd or even lines.

Judging by the mounting plate on punio's I would guess that it also has the scanline toggle switch.

I'm sure punio could confirm that.
