Thought would start a thread for a bit of fun competition, don't see a problem with having a few "challenges" going on at once so if you want to select one I'll add it to this opening post.

Best place to test is Garage, Free Run

Please post your lap time and car used, tuning and mods etc are fine but a PP limited may apply.

Challenge 1 - Cote D'Azur (Monaco), in a car limited to 550PP. Tuning etc allowed.
(on far right of first page of the City tracks)

My idea for a challenge. Nothing crazy, just innocent Japanese night TT!

Track: Special Stage Route 5 (2.35 Miles).

My fastest lap so far: 1:34.890

Excellent track and car choice hoolak, really rewards pushing that bit further.
Just had a blast and pipped your time. 1:34.801.

EDIT: did the school run and another go got me a 1:33.709

Yeah, it's fun.

Challenge 1 is nice. Finding the right car is probably key. The one I chose, I had to knock down the power of, but I'm not sure if this has a more negative effect than getting a car that is naturally around 550PP.

Does anyone know if Polyphony plan on extending the friend leaderboards to other modes?

Edit: nice capture. I actually thought my time was gonna be whooped, but I guess is wasn't a bad start. This is gonna be fun. Like the old Ridge/Sega Rally TT battles.

Challenge 1 - 1:38.727 - Elise 111R Race Car 04, 531PP - only upgraded engine to stage 2, rest as default.

Thought the X-Bow would be good for this challenge but too twitchy by default and couldn't be bothered to muck about with settings for ages.
