The PS2 version was missing all the lighting and shadow effects because it physically couldn't do them. Don't me post a comparison video!

Missing a bit of lighting hardly makes it grotesque.

Great vid, brings back a lot of memories especially of the PS1 era which for me was my most cherished as a fan of videogames. Loved a lot of the subtle little details such as the aspect ratio of the video itself changing from 4:3 to 16:9 at the start of the PS2 segment.

It was a cool video and captured the experience well. Plenty of Tekken duels, Timesplitters multi and PS3 online action. Perhaps the only flaw of the vid is no one plays GT split screen!

It was a great video, very reminiscent of my playing the ps1/2 but I never wore any of that crappy hipster clothing.

Brought back memories of my Japanese ps1import with ridge racer and tekken couldn't believe the conversion of ridge racer at the time couldn't stop smiling for days

Good vid. You could argue that the London Eye shouldn't have been in the first window shot though ;-)

I'm not gonna lie, the video made me want a PS4 a bit.

Really cool video, that Trinitron looks amazing too.

Great advertisement. Continuity errors though. That's a pair of Nike Air Jordan III in the wardrobe. That shoe came out in 1988, not 1995. The Air Huarache is a 2000 model too.

No wonder he has to keep getting the revised versions, he puts his hardware on a carpet! Unnecessary press of the PS4 power button, when he could have just used the DS4 too.

PS1 has the best startup screen EVAR though.

Also the speech "You're too late, I've already summoned meteor!" as there's no voice acting in Final Fantasy VII.

                                I don't see a PSP anywhere, but I do see a Vita.
