Entering the final quarter of 2012 (GOTY so far)

As the game release schedule starts to ramp up, let's make a note of games we've enjoyed so far so they don't get forgotten at the end of the year.

So, uhm, let's see...Senran Kagura Burst, The Last Story, Pandora's Tower, Gundam Unicorn, Nanoha A's Portable, Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, Legend of Grimrock. I'm probably forgetting something and there are more games on the horizon, but between the ones I've listed it's hard to pick a GOTY; right now I'd go with Senran Kagura Burst but The Last Story and Pandora's Tower are on hold until I move to the new house and hook everything back up.

[edit] oh, and there's Puella Madoka Magica, but haven't even started it yet.

Lone Survivor
Silent Hill Downpour (I know everyone hates it but I absolutely loved it)
Dragon's Dogma
Anarchy Reigns
MGS 3 HD

It's been an enjoyable year for me. While I am falling out of love with some of the big blockbuster titles, I have been spending my time with Japanese releases and some indie stuff.

It's been a really slow year for games IMHO but at present I would pick Gunlord as my GOTY. I daresay Halo 4 might change that though.

I still haven't played a game from this year that I would consider worthy of the title. Will hopefully change in november though. I imagine ZombiU, Assassins Creed 3 and NintendoLand will fight for the title.

hmmmm Binary Domain, Borderlands 2....

Nothing else leaps into my mind. Been quite a lot of 'decent' games but hardly anything memorable.
Fingers crossed for NFS - Most Wanted to take the title late for me.

Journey, then Binary Domain and Borderlands 2. Tons of great looking stuff out soon though. If Dishonored isn't in my top 5 by end of the year I'll be disappointed.

The stuff I'm most enjoying is last year's, though: Cave Story on Wii, Dark Souls.

Tokyo Jungle, Diva F or Sleeping Dogs for me so far this year

Rock Band Blitz.
Tokyo Jungle.

Things like Journey, Asura's Wrath and Kid Ic were also great.
