Chris Pine is likeable, which is whats important really. You need an actor whos instantly likeable so that when hes blown to peices after 10 minutes you actualy care about him surviving and being turned into a robot.

Of course the actual film will probabaly still be rubbish anyway though. Due to modern technology I imagine they will go overboard and have Robocop's suit feature detractable Rocket launchers, the ability to turn invisible and probabaly even make propelers shoot out of the top of his head like he is Inspector Gadget.

Im sorry but this will be epic fail. I dont care how big the budget is, how realistic the CGI ends up or the performance of the lead. You just cannot remake Robocop, it was a product of the time. Just like you cant remake/reboot Commando, Predator or Terminator. FFS, its like trying to remake Godfather!!!

Instead of redoing good stuff, why not remake bad stuff and try and make them good?
