I gave up tracking after 6 months.
GAMING SPEND 2010
I took one massive step back and thought, I hardly finish ANY game I buy now unless I actually want the game. Found I finished Alan Wake, Heavy Rain and titles I had been looking forward to. Of the other titles I didn't finish, they were the so-called bargains the ones you just impulsively buy at £14.99 and your eyes light up.
Well NO MORE!

Been lurking on last year's thread over the past year, and am entirely unsurprised at the totals coming up -- that was me back in the Gamecube years, used buy the weirdest of Jap games, I even had several ltd edition consoles of each region and a couple of Panasonic Q's. Much reformed since the real world, work commitments and money issues became a problem, so gonna set a target today of

I've looked over the releases for January and the only game of note for me is Dead Space 2 which I'm increasingly leaning towards leaving till it drops in price. It'd be amazing to not spend anything all month.

I think I'm going to try my best to avoid Day 1 purchases this year. Practically everything I bought in 2010 dropped under £20 within a month, i'd probably be a few hundred quid better off right now had I waited on most of my purchases
