Neo Geo Line problem

Hi guys,

Recently bought a Neo Geo AES from ebay but I'm having some problems with it.

It is displaying black vertical lines along the screen (every second line is black.)

The odd thing is that the "Credits" text at the bottom of the screen display solid and there are no lines running through them!

I have now tried on 3 TVs with the same results (LG, Samsung, Sony LCDs.) Also tried with component and Scart (not sure if the scart is RGB.)

Tried a few cartridges so definitely not that.

It's a US system (I think) - English text.

Serial is 237k.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Clean the cart connectors first I reckon. Different chips in the carts are responsible for different parts of the display - which could explain why the credits text is okay, but the main screen has glitches.
