Advice needed on expensive ebay purchase

I'm thinking of buying a leather sofa suite off ebay, but I'm not sure whether to pay using paypal or via Credit Card directly from the seller. It seems like a legitimate a seller from the 98% rating and been selling for 2 years. Plus have their own website.

i'm just wondering which would afford me the greater protection in the event that my purchase goes balls up and my item does not arrive?

I'm just worried because it's a purchase over ?500 which I've never done on ebay before. Any good advice is greatly appreciated.

I'd personally go with the CC option. Much easier to get your money back from my experiences.

Thanks for the reply. I'm probably going to take the CC option. Just got to wait a few dayd for the hose to be painted and the wooden floor put in.

You should ask them for a discount if you pay by CC, as they will make more money than if you used Paypal.
