PAL PS2 and NTSC games

Hi,

can i play NTSC games at full speed and full screen on a mod chipped PAL PS2 console ?

Fulls screen yes, though the games will still be 50hz if I'm not mistaken. For example, the PAL version of Odin's Sphere runs much smoother than the NTSC version.

They won't be 50hz still. The PS2 will switch to NTSC mode if an NTSC game is booted.

The PS2 doesn't have a PAL 60 mode. It literally choses between PAL or NTSC when running games iirc. So any PAL game with a 60hz option will just run NTSC and any NTSC game will run correctly.

Thanks for help folks,Nico87 if it is work fullscreen it is also 60hz.
Now i can buy a PAL PS2 from a local store.Just i need to import a chip,any recommends ?
